Suggestions Needed

Brent got me an MP3 player for Christmas.  I have wanted one for a long time but didn't know what to get, etc.  Now that I have it, along with my free 14 day trial to Napster, I need song suggestions.  I am soooo out of the loop thanks to Barney, The Doodlebops and Disney's Greatest Hits.  LOL

So, what do you like?  What are your faves?  I like pretty much all genres -- country, rock, 80's.  Any suggestions??

My favorite upbeat tunes are on my blog in the music feature. I adore Michael Buble and Josh Groban. Andre Bocelli isn't bad, either. I'm also a fan of Five for Fighting and Pat Benatar. If you want a whole list of songs to choose from, go to Pandora.com and type in your favorite artist or song. Pandora will generate an entire online radio station that plays songs that fit that genre. It's free, so do it for as many artists or styles as you like. Happy listening.

I got David Archuleta's CD for Christmas and love it. Journey's newest CD - Revelations - is really good -their new lead singer is awesome. My siblings are into Anberlin and I like a lot of their stuff. They are also into The Killers - I'm not as sold on them, but some of it's not bad. I also like Ingrid Michaelson, Natasha Beddingfield, and Regina Spektor. Of course, I'm always playing Abba and Broadway Musicals, too :) Have fun!

The new Coldplay album is great! I also love the classics like Bob Marley, the Beatles, James Taylor, and Led Zeppelin. I also like mellow stuff like Nick Drake, Frou Frou, and Phil Collins. Have fun!
