Quick Update

I am happy to report that things are going well. Nate is a very good boy. He sleeps well, eats well and is generally pretty happy. He doesn't cry much, unless he has a wet bum or something. The kids are adjusting well. Tyler has discovered that it is fun to try and smack Nate on the head. Stink bug! We are working on soft touches. Emmalee is still smitten and takes every opportunity to hold and feed and give lots of kisses. Brent and I are adjusting to the sleep depravation. :) Actually, I have been averaging about five hours a night which isn't terrible...they just aren't five consecutive hours which would be better. But, I think I am actually enjoying the late night feedings more this time around. I think it has a lot to do with being more calm than I was with Tyler and Emmalee. I guess it's true what they say -- by your third baby you aren't nearly as nervous. Nate is very much a snuggle bug and I LOVE that. His favorite place to sleep is on our chest and he is content there for hours. We're settling into a routine and life is good. I even managed to get a shower today complete with make-up and curling my hair. Miracles never cease!

As promised, here are some new pics.....

I found Emmalee sleeping under her slide the other night. So funny!

Tyler got this cute Barney for Christmas and it is his favorite!

More visitors...our friends Chris and Lisa brought us a delicious dinner and came to see the baby last night. Thanks so much!!

Emma the helper. I'm surprised I got a good shot. She was bugged that I was standing in front of the TV!
